The Conservators Center Announces Lions, Tigers and Beer Event ๐Ÿฏ ๐Ÿบ

Embark on a taste bud safari! In partnership with Mystery Brewing and Tabletop Media Group, the Conservators Center is hosting Lions, Tigers and Beer on Friday, May 4, 2018 at 6pm. Tickets are $100 eachโ€”or $180 for twoโ€”and include six food and beer pairings from local chefs and breweries, as well as a walking tour. All proceeds from the event go to the Animal Care Fund at the Conservators Center. 

The six pairings include the following countries and animals, as well as local breweries and chefs:

Africa: Lions
Brewery: Fullsteam
Restaurant: Saint Jacques French Cuisine with Chef Serge Falcoz-Vigne

Northern Europe: Eurasian Lynx
Brewery: Sanctuary Brewing
Restaurant: Kimbap with Chef Kim Hunter

India: Tigers
Brewery: Haw River Ales
Restaurant: Fullsteam Restaurant with Chef Kyle McKnight

Middle East: Jungle Cats & Caracals
Brewery: Dingo Dog
Restaurant: Chef Standards with Chef Jonathan Ballard

South America: Geoffroy's Cats
Brewery: Pig Pounder
Restaurant: M. Sushi with Chef Mike Lee

Southeast Asia: Binturongs
Brewery: Mystery Brewing
Restaurant: Mystery Brewing Public House with Chef Adam Barron

All guests will rotate through each of the six stations outside of the park, and then go meet the culinary inspirations inside the park. If the weather forecast includes unsafe or heavy rain conditions, a rain date is scheduled for May 11, 2018.

The Conservators Center is a non-profit zoological park that reconnects people with wildlife, and is home to over 80 animals and more than 21 species.
