Reminiscing about his time spent in Italy, pastry chef and owner Daniel Benjamin of lucettegrace has invited chef Teddy Diggs of Coronato to show off his "sweet" side. From September 7 to 16, Cornato's Tiramisu will be available as a special feature at lucettegrace, downtown Raleigh's contemporary patisserie located at 235 S Salisbury St, Raleigh, NC 27601.

Chef Teddy Diggs of Coronato, a new Roman-style pizzeria concept slated to open in early 2019, is partnering with Master Baker Lionel Vatinet to host a pizza pop-up at La Farm Bakery. The pop-up is scheduled for Sunday, September 23, 2018 beginning at 5pm at the original La Farm Bakery location, 4248 NW Cary Parkway, Cary, NC 27513.

Crabtree Valley Mall will soon be welcoming a new element to the property that’s the first of its kind in the United States. This exciting new addition is a Krispy Kreme kiosk which resembles the brand’s iconic green and white doughnut box! The unique Krispy Kreme kiosk, which will serve the doughnut company’s favorite varieties, is scheduled to open late August 2018. The kiosk will be located on the first floor of Crabtree Valley Mall near Macy’s and the mall’s promotional court.

It's National Ice Cream Month, and Andia's Homemade Ice Cream is excited to participate in the national "I Pledge for Ice Cream" Project that will run every Sunday from 12pm to 2pm for the remainder of July 2018. During these set hours, any child 12 years of age or under who recites the Pledge of Allegiance will be rewarded with a free scoop of ice cream. This special project is a way for children to practice their patriotism during the most patriotic month. Diggs is currently on the search for a permanent location in North Carolina's Triangle region and is planning to host pizza pop-ups for the public until the grand opening of Coronato.

Head Fire Maker Christopher Prieto of Prime Barbecue is excited to announce that he will be appearing on Food Network's Chopped Grill Masters, with the first episode of the show airing on July 31, 2018. The episode Prieto will appear on is scheduled for Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 9pm ET/PT. Each chef competing is repping their region's barbecue style to battle it out for the $50,000 grand prize.
