During Monday night’s North Carolina Restaurant and Lodging Association’s (NCRLA) Stars of the Industry Awards, members of the hospitality industry celebrated Whiskey Kitchen co-owners Michael Thor and Jeff Mickel for winning the “Restaurateurs of the Year” award.

Coronato’s next door neighbor Craftboro Brewing Depot has collaborated with Chef Teddy Diggs to create a one-of-a-kind brew that pairs perfectly with Coronato’s Roman-inspired pizza menu. Tessera Golden Ale will be Coronato’s only beer offered on tap and can only be found at Coronato.

Carolina Brewery, the oldest brewery in the Triangle, turns 25 years old on February 9, 2020. To commemorate the event, Carolina Brewery in Pittsboro is hosting two events.

In January 2020, Raleigh Rolls launched their new "Chef Series," where the ice cream company collaborates with Triangle area chefs and artisan food makers to launch monthly ice cream specials. In February, Raleigh Rolls will collaborate with Chef-Owner Teddy Diggs of Coronato Pizza to turn his signature Coronato Tiramisu into a Raleigh Rolls creation.
