Sassool Mediterranean Cafe Announces Upcoming Brunch Cooking Class

To encourage a healthy start to 2019, co-owner Simone Saleh of Sassool Mediterranean Cafe is hosting a Lebanese brunch cooking class on Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 8:45am to 10:45am. The class is only available at the Sassool North Raleigh location, 9650 Strickland Road, Suite 149, Raleigh, NC 27615.

The upcoming cooking class features traditional Lebanese breakfast items, and includes a complimentary glass of "Sassy Seco" for all attendees. The class is a demonstration format with opportunities for volunteers to lend a hand and join Simone as she cooks for the class. 

Tickets for the class are $40 per person and are available on Eventbrite.
 

The menu is as follows:

Homemade Cheese
Attendees will learn how to make cheese from scratch.

Foul Mudammas 
A Saleh family favorite and a traditional breakfast item in Lebanon. This dish includes mashed fava beans with olive oil, lemon juice and garlic.

Ajji
The Lebanese version of an omelet. It is packed full of veggies and flavor!

Spinach Fatayer
Spinach and tomatoes inside of Sassool's pita dough. This is a dish not only made for brunch, but to enjoy anytime!

Lebanese Garden Salad 
A garden fresh salad made with tomatoes, cucumbers and mint.
