Soul-Full Sisters Win Sassool’s Fifth Annual Hummus Mix Off

Raleigh and Cary based Mediterranean restaurant, Sassool, wrapped up their fifth annual Hummus Mix Off last weekend. Soul-Full Sisters, Paten Carlton and Quinn Bostic, took home the first place prize at the Hummus Mix Off this year after the public sampled and voted for their favorite. Carlton and Bostic’s Garden Tomato Hummus with Fresh Basil Olive Oil will be featured in Sassool’s fresh case for the entire month of September.

Soul-Full Sisters’ winning hummus, Garden Tomato Hummus with Fresh Basil Olive Oil, is a delightfully creamy tomato based hummus that tastes like a fresh summer tomato fresh out of the garden, sprinkled with salt. The fresh basil olive oil adds an extra layer of freshness and will go perfectly with all of Sassool’s other fresh sides.

“This was our third time competing in the Hummus Mix Off and we’re so honored our Garden Tomato Hummus brought home the win this year”, says Carlton. “We had some tough competition with so many delicious hummuses and super nice people. Thank you to all who voted for us!” Bostic followed.
