The North Carolina SweetPotato Commission (yes, sweetpotato is actually one word!) is hosting #TeachSweet, a social media contest running from Jan. 15-Mar. 15, 2021 for teachers and homeschool parents all over the country. The North Carolina SweetPotato Commission, Inc. is pleased to announce a month-long celebration of sweet potatoes during September 2017 called “Fiesta de Camotes.” Translated to “Celebrating Sweet Potatoes,” Fiesta de Camotes will highlight Hispanic restaurants and bakeries throughout North Carolina featuring sweet potatoes in a special dish.
