Whiskey Kitchen Welcomes the Return of Chef Kyle Teears as Executive Chef

RALEIGH, NC — September 24, 2025 — Whiskey Kitchen is thrilled to announce the return of a familiar face to its kitchen. Chef Kyle Teears has officially rejoined the team as Executive Chef, bringing his signature style, Appalachian culinary roots, and deep love for Southern cuisine back to the heart of downtown Raleigh.

Chef Kyle, who previously made a lasting impression on the Raleigh dining scene, has spent the past few years sharpening his culinary vision at well-known establishments such as The Willard and Saint Jacques. With these experiences further deepening his connection to local ingredients and community-driven cuisine, he now returns to lead the culinary program at Whiskey Kitchen into an exciting new chapter. Though not a native North Carolinian, Chef Kyle has immersed himself in the state’s food history and traditions—blending elevated Southern flavors with Appalachian influences and contemporary techniques.
