Chef Kyle Fletcher of Glasshouse Kitchen Wins Eighth Annual Cooking for the Kids Chef Competition

Overflowing Hands awards Chef Kyle Fletcher the grand prize of $10,000 following three rounds of culinary competition.

Raleigh, NC - February 27, 2026 - Rocky Top Catering announces Chef Kyle Fletcher of Glasshouse Kitchen as the eighth annual Cooking for the Kids winner. After three rounds of extensive cooking and extraordinary dishes, Fletcher was voted to take home the grand prize of $10,000. Throughout the competition, Fletcher delighted guests with inventive dishes that showcased integrated flavors, thoughtful technique and exceptional presentation.

Cooking for the Kids raised over $150,000 for Overflowing Hands. Because of the generosity of chefs, guests, donors and vendors, Overflowing Hands plans to launch a pilot program in Wake County to provide nutritious and scratch made meals to children in school cafeterias. Overflowing Hands is a volunteer-led 501c3 organization serving the most vulnerable children in our neighborhoods, across the United States, and around the world.
