RALEIGH, NC - November 3, 2025 — Sassool Café, beloved across the Triangle for its fresh Mediterranean cuisine and creative catering experiences, is thrilled to announce a new immersive offering at its scenic Apex venue: Date Night in the Pines at FigMint Farms. Designed for couples or small groups seeking an enchanting escape, this one-of-a-kind experience blends the warmth of Sassool’s signature food with the serenity of nature in an intimate, beautifully curated forest setting.
Nestled among the tall pines and tranquil pond of FigMint Farms, Date Night in the Pines invites guests to slow down, reconnect, and celebrate life’s sweetest moments, from anniversaries and proposals to cozy friends' gatherings.
A Magical, All-Inclusive Experience
Each reservation includes three hours at FigMint Farms’ private outdoor venue, where guests will find their pre-set Date Night Igloo awaiting complete with twinkle lights, holiday decor, games, a tabletop firepit for s’mores, an instant camera, and an audio system to cue up a custom playlist.
Guests are encouraged to stroll through the property’s gardens, around the pond, and pine groves before enjoying a delicious Sassool meal served picnic-style in their private igloo. Packages also include non-alcoholic beverages and a warm drink to enjoy fireside.
Cost: $300 per date night
Double date option: $50 additional

Guests can choose between two thoughtfully designed meal options:
Option 1 – Grazing Style
Select six items for a Mediterranean grazing plate (like Mini Chicken Kabobs, Falafel, or Stuffed Grapeleaves), plus two dips with pita.
Option 2 – Dinner or Lunch for Two
Includes two entrées, four sides, and pita, with menu options such as Chicken or Beef Kabobs, Shawarma Pizzette, or Vegetable Lasagna, paired with sides like Hummus, Tabouli, Mjadarah, and Roasted Vegetables.
Each package also includes bottled water, a s’mores setup, two cold non-alcoholic drinks (like Sparkling Mineral Water or Sicilian Soda), and one hot beverage of choice (such as Cocoa, Tea, or Apple Cider).
