Whiskey Kitchen Announces Fourth Annual Ardbeg Wee Beastie Sauce Boss Competition

Raleigh, NC - October 23, 2025 – Raleigh’s favorite neighborhood bar and Southern kitchen, Whiskey Kitchen, is turning up the heat once again with the return of its fourth annual Ardbeg Wee Beastie Sauce Boss Competition, happening Thursday, October 30th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The team is partnering with Ardbeg to celebrate creativity, bold flavors, and a shared love of BBQ and whisky on Whiskey Kitchen’s vibrant downtown patio.

The event is free and open to the public, inviting guests to dig into a smoky BBQ tasting experience paired with sips of Ardbeg Wee Beastie. A handful of Whiskey Kitchen’s talented staff will face off by creating original BBQ sauces infused with Ardbeg Wee Beastie Single Malt Whisky, each bringing their own twist to the competition. The sauces will be served on Whiskey Kitchen’s signature house-pulled pork for guests to sample and savor.

After tasting all five entries, attendees can cast their votes for the sauce that wins their palate. Meanwhile, the Ardbeg team will be on hand to chat about the whisky, pour samples, and share some spirited swag.

How It Works:

Each competing sauce will be represented by a specific color and served in matching colored cupcake liners. Guests will receive two tickets upon entry - one to vote for their favorite sauce and another to redeem for a complimentary pour of Ardbeg or a featured Ardbeg Wee Beastie cocktail.

At the end of the evening, a winner will be crowned ‘People’s Choice Champion,’ selected by popular vote.
